Vintage China Hire Terms & Conditions
Please Note:
Our collection is no longer mass-produced, therefore we cannot guarantee colours of particular items, however, if requested, we will try to compliment your chosen function colour scheme.
Hire Period:
Our hire period is for one day. Longer periods on request.
Payment terms are 50% on booking and 50% five weeks prior to your event. We also require an unbanked cheque to the value of 50% of the total hire cost to cover the unlikely event of damage to any items.
Minimum Charge:
Our minimum hire charge is £30.00. (Or by discretion)
Delivery & collection:
Delivery and collection to and from your function is free within a 5 mile radius of Aylesford. We are happy to quote on deliveries and collections beyond 5 miles. If you would like to collect items from us we are happy to oblige by prior arrangement.
Replacement values:
Minimum of 5 x value of listed individual item rental (or part thereof; trio, cake stand etc).
Cup, Saucer & Teaplate (or part thereof) £7.50; Side or Cake Plate £4.00; Oval Serving Platter £15.00; Sandwich Platter £12.50; Cake Stand Single Tier (or part thereof): £20.00; Cake Stand Double Tier (or part thereof): £25.00; Cake Stand Triple Tier (or part thereof): £30.00; Tea Pot: £22.50; Coffee Pot: £22.50; Milk Jug: £6.25; Sugar Bowl: £6.25.
Please ask for replacement costs for other items not listed.
Cancellation of booking:
If you decide to cancel your booking we reserve the right to charge a £30.00 fee to cover the cost of administration. This is additional to the cancellation and return of deposit details below.
Cancellation and return of deposit from booking date: within Booking Date-9 months 75% (minus £30.00); within 9-6 months 50% (minus £30.00); within 6-1 months 25% (minus £30.00); within 1 month 0%.
